Our Mission

Growing a community rooted in belonging, curiosity, and lifelong connection.

Brooks Jewish Academy is dedicated to sparking joy in every student. That’s why we invest in rich, engaging content, inclusive learning settings, and open exploration. Our students are invited into a conversation with their Judaism: past, present, and future. However you engage with your Jewish world, BJA is where children grow roots and build lifelong connections.
Why Brooks?

A place to learn, belong, and grow.

Welcoming everyone with open arms

BJA is a space where students of all ages, from across Jewish backgrounds, come together to learn and connect

A journey of lifelong learning

Our curricula ensure students from Pre-K through 12th grade are building knowledge in a relevant and engaging way, suited to their age and grade level.

A strong Jewish foundation

BJA's skilled educators guide students through the core foundation of Jewish life (values, holidays, history, prayer, Hebrew language, tradition, and more) in engaging, relevant, and meaningful ways.

Connected to the Wilmington Jewish community

Brooks Jewish Academy is affiliated with Temple of Israel and B'nai Israel. We also welcome unaffiliated families seeking meaningful Jewish education.
